Terms & Conditions
Rules for using the website, your content and bucket lists, authentication features, third-party content, and advertising-supported pages.
Website terms Use of this website is subject to the terms below.
By accessing or using this website, visitors agree to these Terms & Conditions. If a visitor does not agree with them, they should stop using the website.
Acceptable use
- The website may be used for lawful, personal, and informational purposes.
- Users must not attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, abuse, scrape, or misuse the website or its services.
- Users must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or harmful.
- Places and other contributions submitted by users may be reviewed and, once approved, published publicly on the website and attributed to the contributor unless public attribution is turned off in account settings.
- Use of the website must not interfere with the experience or rights of other users.
Your content, bucket lists, and sharing
Users can add their own content to the website, such as bucket list goals, notes, photos and stories, profile details, places, routes, and trips. Users keep ownership of what they add and are responsible for it.
Content added to the website, including photos and stories that are made public or shared, must not:
- use photos or text the user doesn't own or doesn't have permission to use;
- include nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, or content that promotes harm or illegal activity;
- be hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory;
- include other people's personal details, such as phone numbers, addresses, or ID documents, or identifiable photos of people who haven't agreed to be shown;
- be spam, advertising, or promotion of products, services, or other websites.
Permission to show your content. By adding content, users give TravelCobra a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, resize, and display it on the website to provide its features: for example, to show a public bucket list on the community page and the user's public profile, to show a shared list to the people in it, and to make share images on request. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where it was shared with others who still use it (such as goals in a shared bucket list) or where a copy is kept as the Privacy Policy describes.
Shared bucket lists. The person who makes a bucket list can invite up to four other people. Everyone in a shared list can add, change, tick off, and delete its goals, and change whether the list is public. The person who invites others is responsible for who they invite, and should only share content that everyone in the list is happy to share.
Reports and removal. Anyone signed in can report a public goal. Reported or unsuitable content may be reviewed, hidden from public pages, or removed, and accounts that break these rules may be restricted or closed. To ask about content that concerns you, use the Contact page.
Accounts, registration, and access
Visitors may create customer accounts using an email address and password or the latest supported Google sign-in flow. Email and password registrations require email verification before account activation.
Public self-registration is intended for standard user accounts. Privileged roles such as manager, admin, or internal staff roles are restricted and may only be created by authorized administrators.
Authentication security and Google sign-in
Where Google sign-in is offered, the website uses Google Identity Services and related server-side validation steps to confirm identity tokens before granting account access.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords, devices, and sign-in methods. Suspicious, abusive, or unauthorized account activity may result in access restrictions, suspension, or termination.
Content, ownership, and third-party materials
Unless otherwise stated, the website structure, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Some images, external references, or other materials may originate from third-party sources.
Where third-party materials are used, attribution, reference, or redirect-based acknowledgment may be provided where applicable. Copyright holders may request review or removal through the contact route if they believe material is used improperly.
Advertising and external services
This website may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense. Those services may use cookies, identifiers, or related technologies subject to their own policies and applicable consent requirements.
The website may also link to external websites or services. Their content, policies, and practices are outside the control of this website.
No guarantee and limitation of liability
The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No guarantee is made that all content will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website owner is not liable for losses or damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website or its content.
Changes, suspension, and termination
Features, content, pages, or policies may be changed, restricted, suspended, or removed at any time without prior notice.
Access may be limited or terminated where use of the website violates these terms or threatens the website, its users, or related services.
Governing framework and contact
These Terms & Conditions should be interpreted in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations relevant to the website's operation and the visitor's jurisdiction where required.
Questions about these terms may be directed through the Contact page. Related privacy and cookie details are available on the Privacy Policy and Cookie Settings pages.
